Fansly provides several account and privacy tools that creators can use to reduce unnecessary exposure and protect access to their profile. No security setting removes every risk, but the platform gives creators direct control over several important areas.
Enable two-factor authentication
Fansly supports two-factor authentication with an authenticator app. Once enabled, a rotating code is required for login and certain sensitive actions. Fansly also warns creators not to share the 2FA QR code or authentication codes with anyone.
Use geoblocking when location privacy matters
Fansly’s privacy settings allow creators to block countries, states, cities or regions. Users in blocked locations will not see the profile in search results or on the FYP, and direct profile access returns an error.
Block users when necessary
Creators can block users from viewing the profile or contacting them. Fansly notes that blocking a subscriber does not automatically refund the subscription, and previously purchased media can remain available to the buyer.
Use Management Sessions instead of sharing a password
If an assistant or agency needs access, Fansly recommends Management Sessions. These allow controlled, permission-based access without giving the other person the creator’s normal login credentials. Sensitive areas such as payouts remain restricted.
Keep legal identity separate from the public profile
Fansly states that a creator’s legal name and private account information are not shown publicly to fans. The public profile displays the information the creator chooses to publish.
Best Creators tip: audit access periodically
Review active sessions, manager access, blocked locations and 2FA whenever your team or workflow changes. Removing old access is as important as setting it up correctly in the first place.
This is a Best Creators security recommendation based on Fansly’s current account tools.
