Many Fanvue access problems come down to the sign-in method originally used, an incorrect email address or a password reset that is being sent somewhere unexpected.
Forgotten or non-working password
Fanvue directs users to the sign-in page and the Forgotten password option. If the reset email does not arrive, check spam/junk folders and confirm the email address originally used for the account.
“This user did not sign up with email and password”
Fanvue says this message usually means the account was originally created through Google, X or another social sign-in. In that case, use the same social sign-in method instead of entering a password manually.
Gmail dots can look different
Fanvue notes that Gmail does not treat dots in addresses as separate accounts, so an address can be displayed without the dot you remember entering.
2FA device lost
If you lose access to the device that stores your 2FA codes, Fanvue says Support will need to verify your identity before account access can be restored.
Log out of all sessions if access looks suspicious
The Fanvue Account settings include an option to log out of all devices and sessions. This is useful after a password change or when you are unsure where the account is still signed in.
Best Creators tip: identify the original login method first
Before requesting multiple password resets, check whether the account was created with email/password or social login. That one detail resolves many sign-in dead ends quickly.
