Fansly tips are optional direct payments that fans can send in addition to subscriptions and media purchases. Creators can also create Tip Goals that show progress toward a chosen target.
Where fans can tip
Fansly currently supports tipping on posts, directly from a creator profile, inside DMs, toward a Tip Goal and during live streams. Creators can also configure paid-message interactions in some contexts.
Tips are separate from media purchases
Fansly distinguishes a voluntary tip from a direct media purchase. A tip does not automatically create the same long-term access rights as purchased media.
Create a Tip Goal
Creators can make a goal with a title, target amount and description, then attach it to content. Fansly also allows the target amount to be hidden so fans see only the completion percentage.
Tip limits
Fansly’s current Tipping Features guide lists a minimum tip of $0.10 and a maximum tip of $500.
Where creators see received tips
Received tips appear in the Earnings Wallet history, and the creator receives a notification when a fan tips.
Best Creators tip: make goals concrete and deliverable
If a tip goal promises a specific reward or project, describe it clearly and only promise something you can realistically deliver. Transparency is more useful than vague pressure.
