Fansly requires creator applicants to verify that they are an adult and that the person applying matches the identity documents provided. The current application uses both a third-party verification stage and a separate Fansly verification step.
Before you start
Fansly’s current application guidance says you must be at least 18 years old and legally an adult in your country. You also need a Fansly account with a verified email address before beginning the creator application.
The first verification stage
The first stage is handled through Fansly’s verification partner, Ondato. You verify your identity and age using a valid government-issued photo ID. After that step is completed, the process continues to the Fansly application form.
The Fansly verification material
Fansly currently asks creator applicants to provide additional material during the second stage. Its official instructions list a clear photo of the front and back of your government-issued ID, a photo of you holding the ID together with a handwritten sign, and a short video showing you with both the ID and the sign.
The handwritten sign must include your legal name, the date and the phrase “For Fansly”. Your face and the requested verification material need to be clearly visible.
What happens after submission?
Fansly reviews the application and sends status updates by email. If approved, the account gains access to creator tools and you can continue setting up the creator profile and payout method.
Best Creators tip: prepare everything before opening the application
Check that your ID is current, your Fansly email is verified and your verification photos can be read clearly before you start. Preparing the requested material in advance can reduce avoidable mistakes during submission.
This is an editorial preparation tip from Best Creators, not a promise of approval or processing time.
