Fanvue expiring posts are normal posts with an automatic removal time. They can be useful for launches, limited offers and time-sensitive updates when you want the profile to clean itself up after the campaign ends.
How long can an expiring post remain live?
Fanvue’s current documentation allows creators to set an expiry time up to 30 days in the future. The post is removed from the profile automatically when that time is reached.
How to set an expiry
Create the post as usual, add the media and caption, then use the clock control beneath the caption area to choose when the post should expire. You can then publish it or combine the expiry with scheduled publishing.
Use urgency for a real reason
Expiring content works best when the deadline is genuine: a weekend promotion, a limited campaign, an event or a temporary preview. Constant artificial deadlines can train fans to ignore urgency messages.
Do not hide information subscribers need later
A profile guide, subscription explanation or evergreen menu normally should not disappear. Use expiring posts for temporary communication and keep long-term account information in permanent posts or collections.
Best Creators tip: combine scheduling and expiry
For a campaign, decide the start and end before publishing. Scheduling the post and its removal as one workflow reduces manual cleanup and makes the campaign easier to repeat.
