Fanvue creators can combine account security, privacy settings and moderation tools to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and unwanted interaction.
Turn on two-factor authentication
Fanvue allows creators to enable 2FA from the account security settings. If the account was created through a social login, Fanvue says a password must be set before 2FA can be enabled.
Use geo-blocking for country-level privacy
Fanvue currently allows creators to block entire countries. Visitors from a blocked country see a “This page does not exist” message whether or not they have a Fanvue account.
Block and report abusive users
Fanvue provides separate blocking and reporting tools. Accounts and individual posts can be reported from their menu, and blocking prevents further interaction with the user.
Watch for phishing and impersonation
Fanvue’s security guidance recommends not opening suspicious links, blocking the sender, reporting suspicious messages to support and enabling 2FA. Fanvue also advises users not to share passwords or sensitive information in response to unsolicited messages.
Use Manager Accounts for agency workflows
Fanvue offers dedicated Manager Accounts for agencies and managers. These accounts cannot access creator payouts, change the creator’s account email or password, or delete the creator account.
Best Creators tip: separate creator and team credentials
Use the platform’s management tools instead of passing around one creator login. A separate access model makes it easier to remove team members without changing the creator’s entire account setup.
This is a Best Creators operational recommendation.
