How to Create a Fanvue Creator Account

A practical, fact-checked guide to Fanvue creator registration, KYC and profile setup before you start promoting your page.

Fanvue lets you register an account first and then convert it into a creator account. To earn money as a creator, you need to complete identity verification, even if your public profile uses a stage name and does not show your real identity.

Create your Fanvue account

Fanvue’s current onboarding guide starts with a standard account registration using an email address and password. After the account exists, you select “Become a creator” to begin the creator setup.

During creator onboarding you complete your account details, including information about the type of content you plan to upload, and continue through the profile setup process.

KYC is required for creators

Fanvue requires identity verification before a creator can earn through the platform. Its current help documentation says you need a valid, in-date government-issued ID or passport and a high-quality selfie for the KYC process.

The KYC information is used to verify the real account holder. Fanvue states that this information is not published on your public creator profile.

If verification fails

Fanvue lists several common KYC problems: blurry or unreadable images, an ID photographed too close or too far away, poor lighting, an expired ID and low-quality camera images. The platform recommends using a well-lit environment and making sure the full ID is clearly visible.

You can separate your public identity from your legal identity

Fanvue says creators can use a stage name and a creator email address that is not connected to their public real-world identity. That does not remove the KYC requirement: Fanvue still needs to verify the real person behind the account.

Set up the profile before you promote it

Fanvue’s own onboarding guidance recommends fully setting up the profile before promoting it. The platform specifically recommends adding a profile image, a banner, an intro video, automated messages and at least ten pieces of content.

Fanvue also provides current image recommendations for profile presentation. Its profile setup documentation lists 1080 × 1080 pixels for the profile image and 1192 × 335 pixels for the banner. It also states that nude images are not permitted in profile or banner visuals.

Best Creators tip

Best Creators tip: make the profile clear at a glance

Before you start sending traffic to the account, check whether a new visitor can immediately understand who the profile is for, what kind of content it offers and what the subscription provides. A clear bio, consistent profile visuals and a complete content library make discovery traffic easier to convert into an informed decision.
