Fansly’s For You Page (FYP) is the platform’s built-in discovery feed. It recommends posts to users based on their activity and interests, including content from creators they do not already follow.
Creators must opt content into FYP
Fansly does not automatically place every post on the FYP. The creator needs to select the FYP promotion option when publishing a post. If a creator’s timeline is restricted, Fansly also provides a setting that allows internal discovery while the timeline itself stays hidden.
Locked media needs a free preview
Fansly’s current FYP guidance says locked media needs a free preview to be eligible for FYP promotion. Without a free preview, potential fans have nothing that can be shown in the discovery feed.
Posts can be promoted to FYP without appearing on the main wall
Fansly allows creators to publish content to FYP while keeping that post off their public walls. This gives creators control over the appearance of the profile while still using internal discovery.
Tags, hashtags and profile tags support discovery
Fansly also uses profile tags, public hashtags and user activity to match people with relevant creators and content. Profile tags help the platform understand what kind of content a creator publishes, while hashtags can make individual posts easier to find through related searches.
The FYP is personalized for each user
Fansly states that its recommendations learn from user behaviour. Likes, follows, unlocks and browsing activity help shape what appears in an individual fan’s recommendations.
Best Creators tip: optimize for eligibility before worrying about reach
First check the technical requirements: FYP promotion enabled, a usable free preview for locked media, and clear tags or captions that accurately describe the content. Fansly does not promise a specific amount of reach or engagement for an eligible post.
This is a Best Creators editorial recommendation. Fansly itself notes that engagement depends on many variables and does not provide individualized boosting guarantees.
