Fansly purchases are generally treated as final because digital access is delivered immediately, but there are still situations where support or a creator may become involved in a refund.
Most completed digital purchases are not automatically refundable
Fansly’s current refund guidance says subscriptions and purchased content are normally non-refundable once the promised digital access has been delivered. Tips are also generally treated as voluntary, non-refundable payments.
Creators can choose to refund some transactions
Fansly also states that creators can voluntarily refund media purchases, tips or subscriptions at their discretion. The creator has to contact support and provide the transaction details for the request to be processed.
What information support may need
For a creator-initiated refund, Fansly asks for the fan’s profile link, the transaction ID from Wallet Transaction History and the reason for the refund. For subscriptions, the creator should also state whether the subscription should remain active or be cancelled.
Refunded media access can be removed
Fansly says that when a media purchase is refunded, the fan immediately loses access to that refunded media. Creators should therefore make sure they actually intend to reverse the sale before asking support to process it.
Best Creators tip: solve service problems before they become payment disputes
If a fan has a genuine delivery or access problem, document the issue and respond quickly. Clear communication is usually better than allowing a small support issue to grow into a chargeback or complaint.
