Fix common Fanvue card-payment failures by checking billing details, 3D Secure approval, saved cards and issuer restrictions before retrying purchases.
Start with exact billing information
Card number, expiry, security code and billing details should match the information held by the card issuer. Small address or name mismatches can cause a payment to fail.
Complete 3D Secure when prompted
Many Fanvue card payments can require 3D Secure approval through a bank app, one-time code or another issuer verification step. Closing the window before approval can cancel the payment attempt.
A valid card can still be blocked by the issuer
Banks can reject transactions based on online-payment settings, merchant-category rules, regional controls or fraud systems. If the details are correct, contact the issuer rather than repeatedly retrying the same payment.
Manage saved cards carefully
Fanvue allows saved payment methods. Remove expired or unwanted cards and confirm which method is selected before subscribing or unlocking content.
Best Creators tip
If a payment fails, do not submit many rapid retries. Check the failure reason, complete any bank verification and then try again once the underlying issue is corrected.
