Fansly gives creators several ways to monetize a profile. Its current creator documentation describes three core income tools: subscriptions, locked content (PPV) and tips.
Subscriptions
Creators can build paid subscription tiers and choose the price and benefits attached to each tier. Subscription access can be used for exclusive posts, discounts or other tier-specific benefits configured by the creator.
Locked content and PPV
Fansly lets creators sell individual photos, videos, voice notes and text as locked content. PPV can be offered in feed posts or sent through direct messages.
The permission system also allows creators to combine access rules. For example, a piece of media can be included for a certain subscription tier while still being available as a separate purchase to other users.
Tips
Fans can tip creators in several places on Fansly. The platform’s current monetization guide lists tips on posts, direct messages, livestreams and tip goals. Fansly also supports pay-per-message configurations in direct messaging.
Revenue is tracked in the Earnings Wallet
Creator revenue from sales, tips and subscriptions is stored in the Earnings Wallet. Fansly separates this from the Spending Wallet, which is used for purchases made on the platform.
Best Creators tip: treat the tools as separate revenue types
When reviewing your own performance, separate recurring subscription income from one-off media sales and tips. That makes it easier to understand which parts of your Fansly setup are actually producing revenue.
This is an editorial Best Creators recommendation. It is not a Fansly earnings guarantee.
