Fansly subscriptions are recurring paid memberships to a creator’s subscription tier. A creator can offer one or more tiers, and each tier can have its own price and benefits.
How a Fansly subscription starts
To subscribe, a fan needs a payment method and selects one of the subscription tiers shown on the creator’s profile. Fansly also allows creators to offer discounted multi-month options or limited promotions when available.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Fansly currently sets subscriptions to auto-renew by default. If auto-renew stays enabled, the subscription renews at the end of the billing cycle.
A fan can switch auto-renew off from the Subscriptions page. Fansly states that access continues until the current subscription expiry date, so disabling renewal does not immediately remove access that has already been paid for.
A subscription tier controls only the access included in that tier
Creators choose the benefits of each tier and can use Fansly’s permission system to decide which posts or media a subscriber can unlock. Being subscribed does not guarantee that every piece of media on a profile is included.
Fansly specifically notes that some posts can require a different subscription tier or an additional one-time purchase even when the viewer already has an active subscription.
Changing subscription tiers
Fansly allows users to move to another tier. Its current guidance says the new tier takes effect immediately and the new tier is charged at full price. Remaining time on the previous tier does not carry over when the change is made.

Check the exact benefits attached to the tier and look at the access label on locked media. Fansly gives creators flexible permission controls, so a subscription and a separate PPV purchase can exist on the same profile.
